In a fascinating and wide-ranging interview on Fox’s ‘The Ingraham Angle’ Trump took off the kid gloves and got down to business.
He took on his main critics in the media with thoughtful analysis about how terrible they really are. And he gave examples.
He mentioned how during the republican primary the press treated him ok (probably because he was crushing the GOP establishment who they hate) but as soon as he won and took on the Dems they turned.
He said he thought after he won they would go back to being fair. But sadly, they did the opposite.
He spoke about how his family is doing and how they are adjusting. He said Melania is powering through and has been terrific and he thinks Ivanka is getting a raw deal from the press.
Yes, she certainly is.
He spoke about crooked Hillary and was stunned he was so accurate when he said she rigged the election against Bernie.
How this is not the lead story every day, what she did to Bernie, is behind me. Trump went on record saying he thought it was illegal and most agree.
If the media was fair this election rigging would be the lead story every single day until Hillary got charged and brought to justice.
Then the conversation veered towards foreign policy and the State Department. Laura asked Trump about the mainly hysterical left’s claim that he was leaving positions in the state department open on purpose.
Trump responded like the man he is according to a transcript put together by Real Clear Politics:
“So we don’t need all the people that they want. You know, don’t forget, I’m a businessperson and I tell my people, you don’t need to fill slots, don’t fill them.”
Correct let’s try to save some taxpayer money for a change.
The topic turned to Obama holdovers in government and whether they were hurting his vision.
Trump looked straight into the camera and said the words that struck fear in the hearts of every liberal but was music to Middle America’s ears.
“The one that matters is ME.”
“All right. But let me tell you. The one that matters is me. I’m the only one that matters because, when it comes to it, that’s what the policy is going to be.”
Correct. Trump is a leader and he sets the policy and if he doesn’t need to spend the billions like Obama did (to fail) we should applaud Trump.
